Players from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the UAE have moved up a lot in the latest ICC Men’s T20I rankings because to their efforts in the current tri-nation series.
For Pakistan, middle-order batter Hasan Nawaz moved up two ranks to 31st with 580 rating points. Skipper Salman Ali Agha made an astonishing jump of 18 places to 59th with 497 points.
Fakhar Zaman, who has been having a hard time in the current series, moved up two spots to 77th with 433 points.
Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, two of Pakistan’s best batsmen, are not now in the team’s T20I plans. They fell to 21st and 22nd, respectively. Saim Ayub also fell two spots to 40th with 558 points. Sahibzada Farhan, who opened, dropped four spots to 67th with 481 points.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Afghanistan’s wicketkeeper-batter, moved up one spot to 18th. Ibrahim Zadran, on the other hand, moved up 12 spots to 20th with 606 points. But senior all-rounder Mohammad Nabi fell to 69th, Hazratullah Zazai to 82nd, and Najibullah Zadran to 87th.
After a succession of good performances, captain Muhammad Waseem from the UAE moved up five spots to 26th with 591 points. Asif Khan, who hit a scorching 77 against Pakistan, moved up 13 spots to 88th. Alishan Sharafu, on the other hand, fell seven spots to 91st.
Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma of India are still in first and second place on the batting charts, while Phil Salt of England is in third.
Pakistan spinner Sufiyan Muqeem moved up 11 ranks to 22nd place with 594 points, while left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi moved up eight spaces to 26th place. Haris Rauf fell four spots to 28th, and Abbas Afridi fell to 33rd.
Mohammad Nawaz, a spinner, did much better, moving up 15 spots to 43rd with 521 points. Abrar Ahmed dropped four places to 66th, and vice-captain Shadab Khan, who is ill, slid nine places to 81st.
Captain Rashid Khan kept his ninth place for Afghanistan. Fazalhaq Farooqi was in 16th place, and Naveen-ul-Haq fell to 24th.
The spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman moved up to 27th. Veteran Mohammad Nabi moved up 26 spots to 54th place, while youthful spinner Noor Ahmad moved up 49 spots to 73rd place with 446 points.
New Zealand’s Matt Henry is still at the top of the bowling rankings throughout the world. England’s Adil Rashid is in second place, while West Indies’ Akeal Hosein is in third.
