Azhar Ali Scotland consultant has been formally inducted into the Scotland men’s cricket fold as part of a new advisory role that will precede a top international tournament. The former Pakistani captain will be on board for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 games in Nepal from May 12 onwards. One of Pakistan’s most storied Test batsmen, with 97 appearances and 53 ODIs, Azhar Ali could add leadership and skill to the Scottish dressing room.
