Only Two Pakistan Players in Brett Lee’s T20I Team

Brett Lee announced his all-time Asian T20I team on Tuesday, with only two Pakistanis and five Indians. Afghanistan played Hong Kong to open the 17th ACC Men’s Asia Cup at the Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Lee, who played 76 Tests, 221 ODIs, and 25 T20Is for Australia from 1999 to 2012, was asked by Fox Sports to name his all-time Asian T20I squad.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were the openers, while Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan, fifth on the shortest format run-scoring list, and speedster Haris Rauf rounded out the lineup.

Due to his accomplishments, Rizwan should be included for the all-time T20I team. Rizwan is rumored to not play in this series, which surprises me, Lee stated.

He stated, “Haris Rauf has got the pace and balls at the death.

Lee chose MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Rashid Khan, and Wanindu Hasaranga from India, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.

He also selected Hong Kong’s Babar Hayat, UAE’s Amjad Javed and Mohammad Naveed, and Asian cricketers.
