Pakistan Shaheens Squad Announced for England Series is news of the day for the fans waiting for it desperately! Pakistan Shaheens have officially declared the Pakistan Shaheens team to play the next white ball series against England Lions. A 16-member team was announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) both in T20 and 50-over matches in Abu Dhabi.

The T20 series will begin on Friday, 20 February and a five match series of 50 over series will follow on the period between 27 February and 9 March. All the matches will be held at the Stadium Oval, Abu Dhabi.

The Pakistan Shaheens will participate in a seven day training camp at Karachi between the 11 and 17 February before the tour. This camp will also train players on the two versions of the game and make them match fit.

Both formats will have left-handed batter, Shamyl Hussain, as captain of the Pakistan Shaheens. He will receive good support of the best batters such as Abdul Samad, Hasan Nawaz, Maaz Sadaqat the Rising Stars Player of the Tournament in the ACC Men Singapore Asia Cup and the left-hander Saad Khan.

Sameer Minhas and his brother Arafat Minhas, Pakistan U19 batters, are part of the squad. Both players also performed well in the ICC U19 world cup and the ACC men Asia cup rising star series and got their call to feature in this significant tour.

Rohail Nazir and Saad Baig will share the responsibility of wicket keeping. Arafat Minhas, the leg-spinner, Saad Masood, the left-arm wrist-spinner and Sufyan Moqim, will be part of the spin attack. Pace department consists of U19 pacer Ali Raza, Ahmed Daniyal, Akif Javed, Mohammad Salman and Shahid Aziz.
