PSL 11 squads finalised ahead of season

The teams are now ready to take part in the much awaited Pakistan Super League which is set to be played between March 26 and May 3 through PSL 11 squads. On March 12, the league management opened a trade window and enabled the franchises to make strategic adjustments to build up on their lineups.

It was a one-week trade window, which ended on Wednesday and it led to some interesting player movements. Multan Sultans was one of the busiest teams that were engaged in swaps with Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United, and RawalPindiz.

In the initial trade Multan Sultans purchased Ahmed Daniyal and Jahanzaib Sultan of Quetta Gladiators in exchange with Faisal Akram and Arafat Minhas.

Sultans also enriched their team by acquiring Mohammad Wasim Jr of Islamabad United at the costs of Salman Mirza and Nisar Ahmed.

Moreover, the franchise made a Player-for-Money deal, where rising all-rounder Saad Masood was sent to RawalPindiz in cash amount of 500,000 rupees. These tactical moves are an indication that the team is out to compete well this season.

This year is the year of a locked squad and fans are assured of a thrilling PSL 11 which will be a combination of some of the best and the upcoming stars. Every franchise will seek to exploit their newly bolstered lineups to pursue the title and provide exhilarating results ofcricket during the tournament.
