PSL Expands Global Investor Outreach

Intended to keep the momentum of its investor engagement activities in the world on the agenda, the Pakistan Super league (PSL) will hold a high profile roadshow in New York City on 13 December, the second and final international in its global promotional tour.

This relocation follows a successful event held a few days ago in one of the most renowned cricket venues in the world, the Lord Cricket Ground in London, where franchise owners, investors and other people interested in the commercial development of the league discussed the future prospects of the league.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) describes the New York roadshow as part of its long-term international outreach program as it gears up to sell two new PSL franchises on January 6, 2026. The growth will be the first in the history of the league since its creation that more teams will join the event, a move that will considerably increase its commercial presence and global popularity.

The event will start at 4 p.m. local time and will comprise six great national cricketers, among them, the Test captain, Shan Masood, and T20I skipper, Salman Ali Agha. They will also be accompanied by Saim Ayub, Faheem Ashraf, Saud Shakeel, and Abrar Ahmed who will provide the investors a chance to deal with the league most influential on-field players personally. Special appearances by Pakistan cricket legends Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja and artist Ali Zafar will also be brought in to give the evening even more star power.

The PCB stressed the fact that the initiative is supposed to underscore the commercial power of the PSL, its ever-increasing fan base around the world, and the sustainability of the business model of the league in the long term. As the American presence of cricket is growing, the New York presentation is positioned at the right place to help draw the attention of a market that is becoming much more accepting of major global sports projects.

The next franchise sale can be predicted to attract a lot of competitive bidding, which will be the result of the growing brand value and image of the PSL as the most thrilling T20 league in the world. The global reach of the PCB is an affirmative move to enhancing its global identity in the run-up to the 2026 season.
