Quetta Gladiators PSL 11 squad changes?

Quetta Gladiators PSL 11 squad changes are officially confirmed as the franchise gears up towards the new season of the Pakistan Super League.

Quetta Gladiators, the former champions, have already made essential changes in terms of leadership and coaching in preparation of the new campaign. The new appointment of the team as a captain is Saudi Shakeel which is a new direction in the team. Meanwhile, former wicketkeeper Moin Khan is an experienced person who will assume the role of a head coach.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, a former captain has been appointed as a team director in a significant structural change. Iqbal Imam is also included as assistant coach and Wahab Riaz as bowling coach making the coaching set further stronger. As team manager will be Azam Khan.

A major foreign alteration has also taken place in the squad. Alzarri Joseph is the new player who replaced Spencer Johnson who is not available because of personal reasons.

PSL 11 will be held between March 26 and May 3 with eight teams having their first time. The increased number of franchises will result in two new franchises that will be participating in the tournament making the league more competitive.

The number of matches will be 44, and it will take place on 39 days. In every group, each of the teams will play 10 group-stage matches with the four winning the group stage moving on to the playoffs. The last will be played at the legendary Gaddafi stadium.

There will be matches in six cities and Faisalabad and Peshawar are new venues. This growth is an indication of the increased scope and popularity of the league.

In the case of Quetta Gladiators, these changes are an indication of a fresh start.
