The panel of commentators in the National T20 Cup 2026 has officially been announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board before the 12 days tournament between the 7 to 18 March. The panel also consists of a combination of the experienced former players and the experienced commentators who offer their insights during the competition.
Salman Butt, the former Pakistan captain, will also appear in the commentary box where he will do Urdu coverage. Butt has already served in the commentary panel at the 10th season of the Pakistan Super League, and has received acclaim due to his lively and informed commentary. Alongside him will be former national cricketer Aiman Anwar who will give expert views along with Butt.
Others in the panel are Ali Younis, Shah Faisal, Raja Asad and Imranullah. The two of them will comment on and provide tactical analysis and post-match analysis during the tournament. Their experience will make the viewing of the fans in Pakistan and the world at large to improve.
The National T20 Cup 2026 consists of 10 regional teams and the champion, Lahore blues will be in Group B with Abbottabad, Karachi blues, Multan and Sialkot. The tournament will start at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar and the event will be opened with two matches in Group A. The Peshawar and Faisalabad will play Lahore Whites and Karachi respectively at 4:15 pm.
